VONTRON Technology's NF membranes are applied in a liquor wastewater treatment project in Guizhou, China


The project is involved in the food and beverage industry, which requires to control the indicators such as chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total nitrogenand total phosphorus, pH value, suspended solids, heavy metal content, microorganisms and other indicators in water within a certain limit for standardized wastewater treatment effect and less pollution to the environment.

System Introduction
The system is configured in a 7 × 6 arrangement with 2 sets, totaling 84 membrane elements. The system is newly constructed, with one set using competitor‘ s nanofiltration membranes, and the other set using our VONTRON VNF-8040HL/34 nanofiltration membranes. The competitor‘ s system was replaced on August 5, 2022, and our membrane system on September 26, 2022.
Performance
The project was put into operation on September 26, 2022, with the original system replaced with the VONTRON VNF-8040HL/34 NF membranes. The original system carries out biochemical and Fenton treatment aiming to meet the standardized discharge, while the current designed membrane system is proposed to meet the standardized discharge without Fenton treatment. Discharge the salt in the system as far as possible under the premise that COD meets the standard, thereby avoiding salt accumulation in the biochemical system.
