Analyze the cost of water produced by the desalination system: the cost of chemicals (flocculant, bactericide, scale inhibitor, reducing agent, etc.) is RMB 0.35 / t, electricity cost (pumps and other electrical equipment) is RMB 2.35 / t, labor and management cost is RMB 0.5 / t, and the total operating cost is RMB 3.2 / t. The cost per ton of water for desalination comes mainly from electricity costs, and power plants have a cost advantage in this regard. The project can save about 1.75 million tons of tap water each year, effectively alleviating the severe water shortage in the area, and has obvious environmental and economic benefits.
